YEAR 10

Music involves the development and extension of music language, ensemble playing, software familiarity and research skills. Students study and analyse the history of film score and rhetoric composition. They then learn to use compositional software programs to create their own scores, and also prepare and practise repertoire as a class band which will be performed at Couch Fest. Students conduct a research assignment on music technology, presenting their findings to the class. This subject incorporates a Certificate II in Music.
