Art Industry focusses on the production and presentation of industry / fine art quality images for exhibition. Students are involved in all aspects of the exhibition process, many of which are collaborative; creating works, researching potential gallery spaces, undertaking the application process, communicating with gallery staff and meeting contractual obligations, promoting the exhibition, transporting and installing works, managing budgets, planning and adhering to timelines and strengthening networking opportunities. The area of study is run over two semester blocks and covers two units of competency:

CUAPHI539 Plan and produce visual art photo images

CUAPPR414 Develop self as artist

Scheduled class time is on Monday from 1:35 pm-3:15pm 

Students are also able to utilise the facilities (and trainer assistance) during Folio Focus sessions. 

Students are also expected to undertake coursework during their own time.
